Separation Advice
Preschool is a “giant” step in your child’s development. Separation can be a difficult time for you and your child as their knowledge of the world is growing and they may cling to you for reassurance that all is safe.
As your child begins his/her preschool journey with us, we work together to ensure we are all successful in the transition from home to school. We collaborate and share ideas for separation to build an open, trusting relationship with your child, as well as you. You child’s teacher may be the first adult-child relationship outside of your home, therefore we take our cues and guidance based on your child. As a parent, you can help guide your child into the classroom by showing calmness, knowing that you trust the environment to be a safe, loving and great environment for your child.
At Zale we know the eagerness of your child, the exciting environment of our classrooms and the warmth, love and concern the teachers provide will guarantee to make a child’s transition into the classroom a huge success.
