Learning. Independence. Friendship. Experiences.

September 2025 - May 2026

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
The Levis JCC’s Helene & Roy Schwedelson Special Needs Department is proudly launching a new program to address a need for young adults with special needs who have aged out or are no longer attending high school. While not quite ready for vocational training or to work at a job independently, they are ready to expand their life skills, enhance their social interaction, and explore new opportunities.

Participants in this new program will enjoy an array of on-campus and off-campus activities that will promote growth in independent functioning, give opportunities to develop life skills, enhance their social interaction, and encourage fitness and health. This carefully structured program features a low staff-to-participant ratio of one instructor for every four participants, providing personalized support to help them grow and thrive.
